About Me

My photo
Brook Phillips
Creating things with my hands gives me such pleasure. No matter what it is, if it is made by hand or if I put my sweat equity into it, I love it so much more. I am a wife, a mother, a friend, a quilter, a baker, a knitter, a cook, a crocheter, a chef, a masseuse, a tile layer, a painter, a neat freak, an organizer, a fitness addict, a lazy bum, a gardener, a military wife, but mostly a facetious young woman. I see the humor in almost any situation. I visualize what people talk about and can see the word picture. What I will share with you is the bright side of my day, the silver lining to the clouds of life on my journey as a stay at home mom, home schooling parent, as a woman that has had four children working to get back in shape, as a military wife moving around the country, as a woman still madly in love with her husband after fifteen years of marriage, as a child of God, as someone that has fun in the kitchen, as a woman newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and learning how to live my life with new limitations and someone that thoroughly enjoys making things with my hands. Wow! That was a really long sentence!
